On Sunday our dad walked into Heaven. To say he was an influential person in our lives is an understatement. His lessons were endless and are forever ingrained in us. The never-ending love of family The importance of a strong work ethic The ability to find humor in almost anything The belief that faith is not only real, but necessary The desire to always pursue our dreams To be true to yourself The power of presentation To celebrate the little things That no detail is too small, so you better pay attention to them. To make sure you have a hobby That old school is good. And to always be the first AND the last one on the dance floor! Dad also taught us to be generous even if to a fault. And he was to the very end. Upon passing, his organs weren’t viable but his tissue was. As a result of his donation, 60 people will be able to overcome injury, defects, regain movement, sight or actually receive the gift of life. It was also very important to dad to foster a strong bond between us and it worked. Growing up, we always shared a room. After we were married and when talking to either of us, he would say “Well have you talked to your sister? What does your sister think? You two should do it together because you are sisters” So today, we sit side-by-side, writing this together … as sisters. Also as sisters, along with our mom, we were with him when God said it was time. We find great comfort in knowing that he is at peace. Something, in the latter part of his life, he had not had for some time. None-the-less, the one man on the planet that loved us from the very beginning and unconditionally is gone. Our hearts ache. He will always be our biggest cheerleader and our favorite dance partner. His legacy truly lives on in us… DanaBoo and HollyBoo. Dad talked a lot about things beings “seamless”. So really on Sunday… he didn’t walk in to Heaven… he jitterbugged in and hasn’t stopped dancing since.

Holly Morris Tom Sater

She was previously married to Tom Sater but they split in 2005. She later revealed that they divorce because Tom had an affair with a co-worker and an unspecified “addiction problems.”

In a podcast, she revealed that most of her colleagues at the station knew about the affair but didn’t tell her and meanwhile she was co-anchoring morning newscasts with the woman he was cheating on her with.

“So it would be one of those things where we’d do the noon show, and then the two of us walked down, and you know the newsroom- everyone’s talking, and then all of a sudden they stop”

Although she never named the mistress it was reported to be former FOX 5 anchor Gurvir Dhindsa, whom Sater later married.

Morris also added that the other woman (Dhindsa) was a little obsessed with her and even dressed like her at work and would email her under a false name.

She began her career in journalism as an intern for WKYT-TV. At the time she was studying engineering and personally contacted e main anchor of the station. She got the intern position due to her employers being interested in why an engineering major would want to intern for a TV station. Soon after graduating she returned to the station as an anchor and reporter.
