China is taking the aquarium experience to a whole new level.
The Guinness Book of World Records confirmed Monday that Chimelong Ocean Kingdom set five world records, including claiming the title of the largest aquarium in the world.
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom also hold the records for “largest underwater viewing dome, largest aquarium tank, largest aquarium window and largest acrylic panel,” Guinness Book of World Records reports. The aquarium boasts a total water volume of 12.87 million gallons.
The park offers seven different aquatic-themed areas, with each symbolizing a different part of the ocean. It’s part of Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel, which is the largest ecologically-themed hotel China.
