Annissa Essaibi George husband Douglas George (Sr.) is a Boston-based licensed housing and real estate developer. He is now working on four development projects according to Bldup. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 12, 1973. Her parents met in Paris while studying. Her mother was born in a displaced people camp in Germany to Polish parents but grew up in Boston. Ezzeddine, her father, was from Tunisia. They immigrated to the United States in 1972, residing in Boston’s Dorchester area. Her three siblings and she were raised Catholic, although her father was a practicing Muslim. Annissa stands 1.72 meters tall and weighs approximately 119 pounds.

 Essaibi attended Boston Technical High School before enrolling at Boston University, where she majored in political science. She interned in Max Baucus’ Washington, D.C. office while in college. She furthered her education by obtaining a master’s degree in education from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, and she began teaching social studies electives at East Boston High School from 2001 until 2014.
