Mac Miller wife is unknown because he was never married. Miller was in a seven-year on-again, off-again relationship with writer Nomi Leasure, whom he met in middle school. Their romance was the subject of many of the songs on his mixtape Macadelic. Mac and Ariana Grande started dating in 2016 and ended their relationship in early 2018. Unfortunately, the rapper passed away just a few months later. They worked together on Grande’s hit track “The Way” and were thought to be dating. After weeks of speculation, Grande finally confirmed it in 2016 when she uploaded a photo of herself and Miller with the caption ‘babyyy.’

They worked together on songs like ‘My Favorite Part’ and performed live on stage a few times. Unfortunately, the two split up in May 2018, claiming that they were too busy for a relationship. They stayed friends after their breakup and wished one other well.

Miller’s personal assistant discovered him unconscious in his Studio City home on September 7, 2018, and dialed 911 while performing CPR until paramedics arrived. At 11:51 a.m., Miller was pronounced deceased on the scene (PDT). On the day of his death, he had a video shoot arranged, and his Swimming Tour was set to begin in October. Miller listed his mother, father, and brother as beneficiaries in his will. In a Jewish funeral, he was laid to rest at Homewood Cemetery in his hometown of Pittsburgh. Miller died after an unintentional drug overdose owing to a “mixed drug toxicity” of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office on November 5, 2018.

During an inquiry into Miller’s death in September 2019, three men were arrested. Miller reportedly sold counterfeit oxycodone tablets laced with fentanyl to Cameron James Pettit two days before his death, which were delivered to Pettit by Ryan Reavis and supplied by Stephen Walter. Mac had requested Percocet, an oxycodone-based medication, as well as cocaine and Xanax from Pettit. Miller, according to investigators, inhaled the poisoned drugs before he died. The three guys were charged with conspiracy and drug distribution that resulted in death.

Drug dealer accepts plea deal in Mac Miller death

According to court documents, a Los Angeles man charged in the overdose death of rapper Mac Miller in 2018 has agreed to plead guilty in a deal that may land him in jail for 17 years.  Stephen Andrew Walter was one of three persons charged in 2019 in the killing of Miller, who died the previous year of a fentanyl overdose.

In a plea deal with prosecutors announced this week, he agreed to plead guilty to one count of fentanyl distribution. According to the document, both parties agreed on a 17-year prison term. The agreement must be approved by a judge. On November 8, a hearing to alter pleas is scheduled. In the plea agreement, Walter stated that he “directed” another individual, Ryan Michael Reavis, to distribute counterfeit oxycodone tablets laced with fentanyl to Cameron James Pettit. According to the attorney, William S. Harris, “it’s a binding plea agreement for 17 years.”

Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life, a tribute concert, was held in Los Angeles on October 31, 2018. The performance featured many of his friends and partners, and the proceeds went to the newly founded Mac Miller Circles Fund, which strives to fund juvenile arts and community-building activities in his memory. By January 2019, the organization had amassed a total of $700,000 in donations. The renamed Mac Miller Fund made its first contributions in May 2019, including a $50,000 donation to MusiCares to start the Mac Miller Legacy Fund to assist young artists with substance misuse difficulties.
