At the time of her death, she was 35 years old. As a result, she was born in 1986. In Denver, she was a well-known yoga instructor and doula. The gunman who shot and killed five people in Denver on Monday night was identified as a former tattoo shop owner with a history of extremist views and psychiatric problems, according to authorities. Officers shot and killed Lyndon McLeod, 47, near the end of his rampage at tattoo parlors and other venues in Denver. Until 2017, McLeod had a tattoo shop called Flat Black Ink, according to ABC. On Monday, he went on a spree that targeted numerous tattoo shops, and three of his five victims were tattoo artists.

According to KDVR, McLeod then wrote and published the ‘Sanction’ series of books under the name Roman McClay, with the main character based on himself and the narrator being artificial intelligence. He was characterized as living in a converted storage container in an interview about the book, and stated the book was about ‘our masculinity and the way we connect,’ looking at religion, heredity, and society.

In a Twitter account that has been dormant since June 2020, he described it as follows:

I’ll look at the world currently, then the world below it and the world above it,’ he said in a YouTube interview in March 2020, to promote the book.’You have the terrestrial plane, then the sub level, then the atmosphere.’   McLeod added: ‘I consider myself an artist first, and then a man interested in ideas and culture second.’  

What did the police say about the shooting rampage?

Although police did not provide a motive, they suspect McLeod was targeting the persons he shot at the tattoo parlors. McLeod allegedly fired rounds at six locations in Denver and the nearby suburb of Lakewood, according to police. Before he was shot, he left five people dead and three more wounded, including a police officer. McLeod sold his home to a man who said it was full of gun safes five years ago.

‘There were numerous hidden gun safes in the walls of this house,’ said Gabriel Thorn, speaking to KDVR.

‘He just disappeared off the face of the earth when we bought the house. My wife and I joke that he’s changed his name and moved out of the country.’
