Lapid’s first agenda item on his first day in office Friday was a meeting with Ronen Bar, the head of the Shin Bet security service, at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv. According to a statement from Lapid’s office, the meeting included a “wide defense and intelligence briefing on what is happening on the various fronts.”
