As soon as the 42-year-old actress, Angelina Jolie announced her split from her actor husband Brad Pitt; the world hasn’t been the same again for both of them, including their six children. With the hope in her heart that everything is going to be alright, the actress stepped in the 11,000 Sq. ft. Beaux-arts mansion that was once owned by the great filmmaker, Cecil B. DeMille.

There are two Angelina Jolie now, shares film writer Evgenia Peretz. The one Angelina who’s now a single mother with six children – managing day-to-day life and then there’s another who’s working on her latest path-breaking film about Cambodian Genocide.

In her recent interview for Vanity magazine’s September issue, Angelina Jolie spoke her heart out from ‘crying in the shower, so her children don’t worry’ to ‘her life after leaving Brad’.

Angie shares that the trouble between her and Brad Pitt started during the last summer. It was in the summer of 2016 when her film, ‘First They Liked My Father’ was in its post-production stage. “Things got bad,” says Jolie. “I didn’ want to use the word… but, things became difficult.”

Jolie shares her family’s lifestyle wasn’t negative in any ways. Talking about her upcoming trips to Kenya and Namibia, Angelina tells that she knows that her kids may not be interested in the itinerary, but at the same time she makes sure to add fun to their trips with activities like sand boarding etc. They [her children] know it is important, and they understand that their mum thinks it is going to be important when they’re older.

When asked if she was surprised, Angelina said ‘No,’ she wasn’t at all moved with his confessing interview with GQ.

Angelina said, “we care for each other and care about our family, and we are both working towards the same goal.”

“I was anxious about my mother, growing up — a lot,” she summons. “I do not want my children to be concerned about me. I think it’s essential to cry in the shower and not in front of them. They need to know that everything’s going to be all right even when you’re not sure it is.”

Although both, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have kept their children’s life private, the magazine interview tried to give an insight into the personality of her few kids. It describes them as “polite, but not phoney polite.”

For example, the 9-year-old Vivienne wears a denim backpack wrapped with pins and still likes her blanket. She doesn’t mind being called ‘Viv’. Whereas, her twin brother Knox appears to be the most naughty one.

Jolie shares about her daughter Zahara and says “I call her Zaz,” describing her as “the rock of the family, as she always knows whereabouts of other children.

Meanwhile, Maddox and Pax seem to be fated to follow in their parents’ talented footprints. Maddox is the executive producer of ‘First They Killed My Father,’ and Jolie remarks he read draft after draft of the script, giving points. Pax also did still snapshotting for the film.

She said that her children are dealing with more than just a divorce between their parents. “They’ve been very brave, they’re very brave,” states Jolie.

“In times they needed to be,” she continues mysteriously. “We’re all just healing from the events that led to the filing. They’re not healing from divorce. They’re recovering from life, from things in life.”

At the time of this interview, Angelina was still unpacking her bags and finding her ways in six-bedroom and 10-bathroom large mansion. “Decorating has always been Brad’s thing,” she admits.

Angelina shares that in addition to hypertension last year, she had developed the Bell’s palsy. It’s a condition in which an individual loses control over one side of its face, as muscle starts to droop.
