Charlize Theron is ready to begin dating again and she’s keen to find “a good human” who can “grow a good beard”.
The 43-year-old actress previously opened up on being “shockingly” single during an interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET).
The star, who raises children Jackson and August on her own, admitted that she has since received numerous offers from hopeful fans, and while her search isn’t urgent, she is open to the possibility of a new romance.
But she has a particular type of man she is looking for.
“I made a choice to be single. I was raising two small children and that’s what I wanted to do,” she told the Sun on Sunday. “Now I have changed my mind and I will handle it. I want to have a good time.
“It depends on the guy. A man that can grow a good beard. I don’t want guys who don’t grow good beards to grow beards, like those patchy ones. I’m not a fan of that.”
The Oscar-winning actress, added: “I’m just looking for a good human.”
Charlize, who is currently starring opposite Seth Rogen in the romantic comedy Long Shot, was engaged to actor Sean Penn but the pair split in 2015. Prior to that, the stunning brunette was in a long-term relationship with Irish actor Stuart Townsend from 2002 to 2010.
Earlier this year, her love life hit headlines when rumours began swirling that she was dating Brad Pitt, with insiders saying the pair had grown close after shooting an advert for watch company Breitling.
However, a source told People that the duo was never romantically involved, adding: “They have not been out together recently, and were never dating.”
