Another shooting at Downtown Renton, Washington, 1 killed, 5 injured, suspect, investigation

Early morning of Saturday, open shooting at downtown Renton, Washington after the officer Anthony of Rochester died in shooting. Till now, one person was killed and five others were injured in a shooting, according to the police. Officers responded to shots fired just before 1 a.m. local time, Renton police spokesperson Sandra Havlik said. At least, 5 people are injured and one was confirmed dead in shooting. Five injured people were treated on scene by emergency personnel, Havlik said.

Police found a man fatally shot man in downtown Renton early Saturday, they said.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., Renton Police Department officers responded to 911 calls about a shooting in the 200 block of Williams Avenue South, a news release from the department said.

Officers found the man there, unconscious and with a gunshot wound, according to the news release. Despite trauma care by officers and paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene, the release said. The man was from Tacoma, police said.
