Let me start off by saying… I HAVE FOUND IT! I have found the best skincare routine in all of history! No? Close enough!
I personally dealt with constant clogged pores + mild acne, but both are becoming nonexistent with this easy morning and night routine! Here it is…
A few months back I turned to vegan products knowing even my Burts Bees was not making an impact on my skin. I turned to vegan facial products not only for the greater good, but to flush out my system of any and all toxic add-ins to our everyday products. With little to no results from various “all natural” scrubs, washes, and lotions, I started researching what everybody’s skin needs.
Wash. Tone. Moisturize.
So simple and so easy; that’s it, no catches.
I ordered each product off Amazon and had them shipped to my door in two days! (Thanks Amazon Prime!)
I ordered a bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap. I chose peppermint to wake my face up with minty sensation which I love, but keep in mind it’s not for everyone! This by far has to be my favorite soap ever, and the scent options are endless. It has so many uses other than a face wash, so buying a big bottle is definitely worth it.
I also grabbed a bottle of Thayers Witch Hazel with Rose Petal because who doesn’t love the scent of roses? And they are amazing for your skin! Although any of the Thayers would do the job, the rose is heaven! This will be the toner, which is step 2 after your face is clean.
Lastly, I then found an all natural aloe vera gel which is the backbone to this routine. I use Brooklyn Botany Aloe Vera Gel and it is magic! But if for any reason you have an aloe vera plant, you can use it freshly picked! My pores have finally shrunk down to a normal size and my skin tone has evened out drastically. May I warn you: real aloe vera does have an odd, almost body odor-like smell to it, and if bought in the bottle it is watery. So don’t be fooled if you think something is wrong with your new aloe vera, it’s the good stuff! This will be your oil-free moisturizer and skin tightener. Free botox? Count me in!
Most of these products can be found at your local Fred Meyers in the all natural section and I’m sure you can find an aloe vera that will suit your needs!
