Bette Midler grandchildren

Bette Midler played several characters of being a mother and a grandma but in real life, she never has a chance to be a granny. After her daughter wed in the 2020 pandemic, from that time she wanted grandchildren. But Bette is still waiting. She has a lot to complain about in the upbringing of today’s children:

“Today’s children are totally programmed and planned. It used to be different when I raised my daughter. We opened the apartment door and the kids played outside all day. It is very different today. And children today – at least in the United States – can only play with children who know their parents well. It’s partly really silly. “

And yet she also sees the advantage of a grandmother over a mother: “The nice thing about being a grandma is that you can give the children back to the mother at the end of the day.”

According to Sophie, she and her husband has no plan to welcome the child at this time. She even planned to have marriage at the age 35 but due to covid, they changed the dates.

Looking at her Instagram posts, Sophie looks fit and perfect, no belly bumps. It seems like her mother Bette has to wait a few years for grandchildren.
