Mark is the project manager of DIY SOS on BBC. The show began in 1999. He was first approached in 1999 to present on the first series of DIY SOS in front of the camera, but he declined due to the amount of private client work he had booked.
In 2005 he was again approached to become Project Manager which he accepted.His duties extends to playing a vital role editorially and on all production decisions. He also influences which stories make it to the screen.
In September 2020 he helped take on DIY SOS’ biggest challenge yet for Children in Need – a huge project in Swansea, building the first-ever surf school adapted for people with disabilities as a piece of landmark architecture in just 11 days.
