Moreno debuted in professional mixed martial arts (MMA) in April 2011 in his home country of Mexico. He had a record of 6 victories and 3 defeats during the next two years. Moreno would make his WFF debut in 2014. He would go undefeated in the organization, going 5–0, and eventually win the Flyweight title, earning him a spot in The Ultimate Fighter 25’s Flyweight tournament.
