In her role she leads and serves as the executive producer of breaking news and major events for both NBC News and MSNBC, including network-wide coverage of the coronavirus pandemic, the impeachment trial of President Trump, and the networks’ Decision 2020 coverage including presidential debates, town halls, primaries and special election nights, forums, and hours of on-the-ground reporting.

She also leads MSNBC Dayside programming, managing hours of live programming and newsgathering for the network, focusing on breaking news, live reporting and infusing the resources and journalism of NBC News.

Prior to joining MSNBC, she served as the news director for the NBC affiliate in Columbia, South Carolina (WIS-TV), where she rebuilt and rebranded the news team to focus on in-depth investigative reporting.

She began her career as a producer at WTKR-TV where she produced daily 11pm Newscast. She later joined The Weather Channel where she served as director of live programming. She lead coverage and programming for some of the network’s most historic weather events, including Hurricane Katrina, mass tornado outbreaks and paralyzing snow storms.
