Professional life: When did he start his career?

Taylor began his professional career as the drummer for Alanis Morissette’s tour. From 1995 to 1996, he was a member of the tour.Foo Fighters entered a Seattle studio with producer Gil Norton to create their second album after touring through the spring of 1996. Conflict between Dave Grohl and drummer William Goldsmith is said to have erupted during the recording process, leading to Goldsmith’s departure from the band.  With Grohl on drums, the band reformed in Los Angeles and almost completely re-recorded the album. On May 20, 1997, the album The Color and the Shape was released.

Hawkins volunteered, much to Grohl’s astonishment, saying that he wanted to be a drummer in a rock band, not a solo act. He then auditioned for the band and was eventually accepted. They’ve been on the tour for nearly 25 years, performing at sold-out stadium shows. Their largest gig was supposedly a two-night sold-out show in London’s Wembley Stadium in 2008, where they played to an estimated 86,000 spectators.
