Danish broadcaster TV2 has already ordered the thought-provoking drama series. The six-part series, a family saga, will be directed by Vinterberg, who will also co-write the script with Bo Hr. Hansen, with whom he co-wrote his first feature film, “The Biggest Heroes.”

“Thomas came up with the concept for ‘Families Like Ours’ long before the pandemic, but it turns out that it is really relevant to our times or where we are in the world today. We’re all so worried about what’s going on around us, what’s going to happen next, and when it’ll all be over, but we just need to keep enjoying our lives,” said Graum Jrgensen, who will be producing at Zentropa with Kasper Dissing.
