LG has announced the global rollout of its curved smartphone, the G Flex, starting in Singapore and Hong Kong in December.
More precisely, customers in Singapore will be able to preorder the device starting on Dec. 8, while those in Hong Kong will be able to buy it from “major carriers” and “leading electronic retailers” on Dec. 13, according to LG.
The G Flex should be available in other Asian regions before the end of the year, followed by other regions “soon.” LG provided no details about the launch date in the United States or the price.
The LG G Flex is curved vertically, making it quite a different beast than Samsung’s Galaxy Round, which has a horizontally curved screen. It sports a 6-inch, 720p OLED display, a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel camera.
